Our Story
Thank you for visiting our Discover A New Future shop! My name is Faith Saunders, or you may hear, Faith McCalla - same person! I have had the honor and privilege of doing the work that I enjoy doing. My career in the mental health field has allowed me to work in various capacities with many groups in the for-profit, not-for-profit and government arenas. The main thread that links all these experiences is that I am able to meet people from different backgrounds. Not only do I have the opportunity to help improve their lives, I have also become a better person throughout the process.
My life’s journey has taught me many lessons. But one of the most important lessons I've learned is, "We're not meant to be perfect; we're meant to be whole. So, I have set myself the mission of helping people be the best version of themselves!
Most of my ideas for the Discover A New Future product line manifest themselves when I am in nature. I can literally remember where I was when I got the idea of doing the Messages In A Tin collection. I was walking in a rose garden close to my home. My thought of why nature plays such a huge part in inspiring my creativity is that when I am in nature, I feel free.
This brings us to the other reason closely associated with this product line. This is our Break Free Movement initiative, which is aimed at empowering women in difficult circumstances. Learn more about this here. A portion of all our sales goes towards this initiative.
